Are local sports classes and/or activities available for kids?

There are a lot of sport opportunities including soccer, dance, baseball, tennis, and volleyball. I'm sure there are other options. - Mar 2023


You can find pretty much anything for kids, but nearly everything will be mostly in Spanish. And if it's not in a location walkable to your housing, you'll have to drive them, which can take an hour for a normally 15 minute drive due to traffic. - Oct 2022


There is swimming classes available for kids three times a week at fitness one for $60 a month. There is also gymnastic classes, I don't know how much these are. - Jul 2021


There are many options through the schools, and most kids do extracurriculars at school. There are options for dance, gymnastics, horseback riding, swim, and karate outside of school. Just be aware that traffic in the afternoons is not good, and I wouldn't want to be driving around rush hour. We ended up skipping the gymnastics option here because the 15 minute drive took 90 minutes during rush hour. - Jan 2020


Absolutely! Art classes, dance classes (ballet/jazz/modern/hip-hop), karate classes, any instrument you can think of, Little League baseball... it's ALL available here. - Mar 2019
