What is the overall climate: is it extremely hot or cold, wet or dry, at any time of year, for example?
Very short, relatively mild winters. Some snowfall, but usually not much and it melts quickly. Mid-February is when spring starts, and by May, you're looking at very comfortable temperatures. Italians will keep wearing their fur coats until June, but you won't need them. - Sep 2014
