What is your housing like? What are typical housing sizes, locations, and commute times for expatriates?
There are mainly apartments for housing in Ramallah. Depending on the location of your workplace, you can live within walking distance. Some people choose to live out in the more suburban area of Al Tireh with large modern homes-- farther from the center of town and not walkable to any office. There are also some old homes for rent, although they are disappearing by the day. These homes have heaps of character and usually come with unique maintenance challenges.
