Yes, but one shouldn't do so at the cost of one's comfort in what can be a difficult post, given the climate and pollution. Mobility is important, but this doesn't come cheap. Mongolia is a vast, diverse country and it pays to explore the place, but this does take time and money. - Feb 2015
