What types of jobs do most expatriate spouses/partners have? Locally based or telecommuting? Full-time or part-time? Can you comment on local salary scales?
Stray dogs and horses (!) a big problem. Shelter volunteers needed. Also jobs in medicine but pay 30-50% of USA. - May 2023
If you can work in the U.S., you can work in Puerto Rico. However, the economy is in shambles so there aren't a lot of jobs available. - Jan 2014
Many of the expats in my social group are here with an employed spouse, often with the government, upper education, construction, medical or pharmacudical industry. The trailing spouses seem to struggle to find jobs. Some have started their own business, but many are frustrated. - Jun 2013
