Are local buses, trams, trains or taxis safe and affordable?
There are quite a number of local taxis which are very friendly and reliable. They are all the same basic regulated rates and usually you end up using the driver you like most. There is no train service on the peninsula but we do have a bus that is reasonable and has a fairly accurate schedule. If you live in the village you don't need a bus to get around and a lot of people don't own cars. - Feb 2009
