What are some typical ways to socialize, either with local people or with other expatriates? Are there groups or clubs that you can recommend?
A lot of the social scene is based upon a membership at the Palm Resort or one of the hotels (Rotana, Hilton, or Intercontinental). Swimming, rugby, raquetball, soccer, etc. House parties, dinner parties, jiu jitsu, baseball, various cultural events, movies at the mall, etc - Jun 2010
