For a one-year assignment, it was much better than I imagined. I won't be looking to return here, since any opportunity or desire I had to learn and experience Karachi/Pakistan was severely limited by my employer's security policies and procedures - which, sadly, I don't see relaxing anytime soon. However, our security concerns are real and happening - and I have been safe. - Jun 2014
