Are there any unusual problems with insects or other infestations in housing?
As with any warm-climate area, insects are prevalent. Fortunately I did not see huge spiders or cockroaches. Geckos are everywhere as they help reduce the insect population. Malaria is rampant in Karachi and I recommend taking anti-malaria medication and/or insect repellent while in Karachi. - Aug 2015
There are insects, and disease-bearing mosquitoes that will hone in on you, but it isn't unbearable. This is not the place you want to walk barefoot, as there appear be large/small ant colonies in many places. - Jun 2014
