Are there any particular health concerns? What is the quality of available medical care? What medical conditions typically require medical evacuation?

Local medical care is pretty good. We just go to a local doctor and get reimbursed by our insurance. - Jun 2019

Dampness and humidity can increase respiratory illness. There have also been measles outbreaks. Medical care is good. You must have a general practitioner for regular medical care and referrals to specialists. Well, there was a Meningitis scare around a few years ago. That's one deadly disease!My brother-in-law contracted it and damn near died!Apparently it turns your skin black before it kills you. - Mar 2010
